As Deputy head of the Exeter College IT faculty and experienced lecturer in Computing and IT Ian has been instrumental in the development of esports at the college and in writing a HNC / HND qualification in 'Esports Production and Management' in collaboration with the University of Plymouth; recognising the gap in esports representation at higher education level. In collaboration with College partners, Ian has also been working to map esports to the technical skills gaps identified by employers linked to the college. With a strong background in ecommerce, web design and consumer electronics, Ian is a champion for digital technologies and practice in teaching and learning and is an integral part of the college's Digital Implementation Group.
