Herv' Ferrage has been Deputy Director general of France Education International since September 2021. A graduate of the 'cole Normale Sup'rieure, holding a PhD in humanities, he joined the French diplomatic network after several years in academia. He has been successively Academic Cooperation Attach' at the French Embassy in the United States (1999-2003), Director of the French book office in London (2003-2007), Cultural Counselor and director of the Institut fran'ais in Budapest (2013-2017) and Deputy Cultural Counselor at the French Embassy in the USA, based in New York (2017-2021). Due to his education and professional experience, Mr. Ferrage has specialized throughout his career in international matters and cultural diplomacy, with a particular focus on educational issues.
