Hector Minto leads accessibility engagement and evangelism globally at Microsoft. He has worked in the field of Assistive Technology (AT), Alternative Communication (AAC) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) for 25 years, always at the forefront of emerging technology, exploring how to maximize its impact for people with disabilities. Additionally, Hector has worked on multiple government focus groups and inquiries into assistive technology and its role in society. Hector's current role sees him manage a global network of teams who connect with government, customer, and community stakeholders, educating on accessibility and digital transformation. Through partnership, the Microsoft accessibility team aims to narrow the disability and digital divide that exists across society.
