Born in Egypt, based in Saudi Arabia, Hatem has performed multiple roles with the IB organization since 2015 as an online workshop facilitator, Curriculum reviewer, School Evaluation Leader and Regional Workshop Leader. Hatem started his career in education as a language teacher; Spanish, English, Arabic and French. He developed a passion and skill towards curriculum design, currently certified as Concept-Based Inquiry (CBI) Erickson and Lanning consultant. He has been in school operations and pedagogical leadership for more than a decade and currently leads Education at Advanced Learning Company (ALC), a pioneering educational services provider in Saudi Arabia. Hatem believes that schools’ ecosystem as learning organizations is built upon the coherent interconnection between students’ learning, professional learning and system learning. Hatem is an advocate for Personal and Professional Growth, Inclusion, and Education for Sustainable Development.
