Halima is an Asian Women Achievements award finalist for 2021. She has a BSc degree in Computer Science as well as a Masters in Leading Education and Change. She is the CAS Lead for Merton Secondary and Primary Schools, a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE). As a charismatic, dedicated and inspirational educator from an African/Indian background, Senior Leader of STEAM and international schools, Head of Computing, Leader of Digital T-Levels and Director of Digital learning at Ursuline High School, Halima supports girls into STEAM education as well as career paths. Halima's ambition is to have more BAME women taking routes into STEAM and works with various organisations and charities to enrich their education and help pupils find employment.
