Emma has over 20 years of experience working in education, with 10 years dedicated to Special Educational Needs (SEN). She began her career in Further Education (FE), teaching hospitality and catering, and her passion for this subject continues to drive her work today. Emma is currently the Food Technology Lead at Pioneer. She firmly believes that Food Technology is a key and fundamental skill for all students. By making appropriate adaptations, Emma allows her students to experience the joy of cooking, which in turn promotes independence and prepares them effectively for adulthood. Her teaching focuses on ensuring every student can access this vital life skill.
