Emma Gray is a product manager on the Microsoft Education team based in Vancouver, Canada. Her recent projects include Search Coach and Search Progress, expert-informed information literacy tools and the most recently-launched members of the Learning Accelerators suite. Raised by journalists and with a background in engineering, Emma is familiar not only with the importance of information literacy, but also the unique challenges associated with developing these skills in the digital age. She speaks with educators weekly about their experiences teaching these topics. In her free time, you'll find Emma around the table at Dungeons & Dragons sessions, curled up with a good book somewhere, or figure skating at the ice rinks in downtown Vancouver.
