Dr Susan Davis

Dr Susan Davis is a Senior Lecturer in the school of Education and Social Policy at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She is the pathway leader for the Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD), and supervisor on the MA in Education. She is working across Cardiff Met as an Equity and Diversity mentor and is the research lead for the implementation of the Advance HE Race and Equality Charter mark award. As an active researcher, her research interests are related to children's well-being and especially quiet, shy and anxious children in the primary school, learners with English as an additional language and multi-lingual learners. Susan is a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and chair of BAMEed Network Wales, she also sits on the management board of Black History Wales.
