Dr Roqaya Alamiry is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Marine Biology Department at the University of Khorfakkan.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Sharjah and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Water and Environmental Engineering from Masdar Institute. Her work focuses on water sustainability and marine pollution, with interests in applied environmental research.
She is committed to hands-on, interdisciplinary education that links science to real-world challenges.
