Dr Rita Hai Min Dai is an Associate Professor in Education at the Research Centre for Future Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research focuses on human–AI interaction in educational settings, educational psychology, and digital cross-cultural communication.  

Dr Dai has published in leading journals such as Computers & Education, Computers in Human Behavior, the British Journal of Educational Technology, Interactive Learning Environments, the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning, and Higher Education. Her Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) of 4.27 (Scopus) indicates that her work is cited more than four times the global average in her field. She has led or co-led thirteen funded projects across the UK, Australia, mainland China, and Macao SAR.
