Dr Yang is the Institute Manager of the Global Institute for Emerging Technologies Equity Team at The Education University of Hong Kong. Her professional activities focus on quality teacher professional development and technology-enhanced learning innovations in Higher Education. 

Over the past decade, Dr Yang has coordinated projects that strengthen university teachers’ capacities supported by AI and emerging technologies. Her research interests include teacher professional development at scale and AI-enabled blended and online teaching and learning in Higher Education.
