Dr Elizabeth Hidson
Senior Lecturer in International Teacher Education, University of Sunderland
Elizabeth started her career in education as an ICT teacher in London secondary schools, progressing to senior leadership roles before moving into academia. Since 2014, Elizabeth has been an educational technology researcher and lecturer, working at Durham University, Newcastle University and the University of Sunderland. She is the programme leader for the University of Sunderland's UK-based SCITT PGCert programme and the assistant programme leader for the international PGCE (IDL) course, delivered via distance learning to over 600 students around the world each year. She has a particular interest in technology and pedagogy.
