Dr Ayman Bahaa-Eldin
Professor Ayman M. Bahaa-Eldin is Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education of Egypt and Professor of Computer Engineering at Ain Shams University, recognized as a national leader in education reform and an authority in computer networks and cybersecurity. He previously served as President of ElSewedy University of Technology, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, and Head of Student Affairs at Misr International University, and as Advisor to the Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence within the Ministry of Higher Education and the Supreme Council of Universities. He was a core member of the Higher Technical Committee for Mega Projects, overseeing the establishment of 22 public and technological universities, while also chairing the national IT infrastructure committee, leading the design of complete academic programs, and establishing the national public university admissions system. He has led major national digital initiatives, including the Smart Universities Framework, advised international projects with the EU, ISESCO, and the Arab League, and contributed to drafting the Digital Signature and E-Crimes laws. An accomplished academic, he has authored 100+ publications, holds an H-Index of 16, supervised 75+ Master’s and PhD theses, and serves internationally as a conference chair and journal editorial board member
