David Lester
David has worked in the wider Service Sector for nearly 30 years, with the last 15 years focusing on Education and supporting schools, government teams, and parents internationally. In his joint roles of Group Learning Services Director at Nisai and Vice-President at Quillsoft, David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the challenges facing the UK and International education and SEN sectors.
A key driver is providing strategies to learners who are displaced, dis-advantaged, dis-engaged and living with both visible and invisible disabilities. He brings with him knowledge of best practice from the UK for those learners who require an alternative approach to education.
Speaking at the Global Inclusive Schools Forum at UNESCO HQ, Paris in March, David discussed and shared his thoughts on the impact of assistive technology within an inclusive environment, the opportunities AT can bring and the wider, personal impact on the user.
