Dare Pitan is the Digital Education Lead at the University of Birmingham Dubai, where he drives innovation in digital education and learning enhancement. With over a decade of experience in education transformation and pedagogical innovation, he is a strategic advisor to global EdTech organisations and leads key initiatives advancing the integration of artificial intelligence in education. 

As the Co-Founder of the AI in Education Think Tank, Dare brings together Digital Education Leads across Dubai to promote ethical and evidence-based adoption of AI and digital tools in teaching and learning. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), he is deeply committed to empowering educators through technology-enabled practices that improve engagement and student experience. 

Currently pursuing a PhD focused on technology acceptance and resistance in education through the lens of AI, Dare’s research examines how human and technological factors shape the adoption, trust, and sustainable implementation of AI in higher education.
