Dan Clark
Dan Clark has many years of experience in teaching, music, computers, working with children, coding, graphic design, and also a parent of two autistic young people. This led him to founding MindJam - emotional support, mentorship and guidance through gaming, game design and digital skills.
There are many amazingly talented young people who are lost, struggling and feel they don’t fit in. Dan’s goal is to build their self-esteem, confidence, and ease their anxieties all whilst honing their skills and abilities to help them reach their incredible potential, in an environment that truly works.
Dan has been a teacher for over 20 years, helped thousands of children to play instruments, game design and code. He has also recorded and released albums and singles, been featured on BBC and Channel 4, played at the London 2012 Olympics, taught the youngest grade 8 rock guitarist in the UK, and won awards for songwriting and web design.
MindJam sources the very best mentors who are passionate about gaming and technology, and are skilled in connecting with young people. All their mentors are experienced and trained in working with young people with a variety of different backgrounds, including neurodivergent young people, autistic young people and other additional needs, such as PDA, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD.
