I'm CEO of GLUU where we create 'shared goal partnerships', a new category where industry and schools work collaboratively to co-curate services that address systemic issues in education and help make them available to all. As a senior EdTech lead with 20+ years' experience, I've worked with start-ups through to global corps. I have cultivated partnerships with education stakeholders at all levels from Presidential Council members and MoEs through to B2B partners and classroom teachers alike, working closely to create customised content and professional development solutions that support their strategic goals. I've been responsible for several ground-breaking national scale corporate educational partnership programmes with the likes of Nike, Rolls-Royce and Nestle - designing and delivering content, PD and inspiring money-can't-buy experiences for UK teachers, students and parents. I'm a former primary teacher and I've led the UK's largest technology focused professional development service for primary schools, supporting the successful introduction of technology into the classroom and sustaining recommendations of 98%+ from over 350,000 educators in a 3 year period alone. I serve as Chair of BESA, the British Educational Suppliers Association and over the years I've been called upon as a 'voice for the industry' where I've had the pleasure of representing UK EdTech on stages from Camden to Calgary and Birmingham to Beijing.
