Catrina founded Neuroteachers to help educational settings support autistic and neurodivergent learners through simple, neuro-inclusive practices. She is neurodivergent herself, with a dual diagnosis of dyslexia and bipolar disorder and traits of ADHD, dyspraxia, and Auditory Processing Disorder. A qualified special needs teacher and experienced SENCO/ALNCO, she draws on 23 years of pupil-facing experience to help schools improve behaviour, attendance, and attainment for pupils of all neurotypes. Through training, mentoring, coaching, and culture change, the Neuroteachers team works with nurseries, schools, colleges, and businesses, promoting co-production with families and educational settings.
