Casey K. Sacks, Ph.D. is the President of BridgeValley Community and Technical College and founder of the WIN Academy Early College Charter High School in Charleston, WV. She is also a Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary on workforce and AI initiatives at the U.S. Department of Education. She is leading ED’s exploration of how AI is changing the future of work and how educators can best prepare students for that changing reality. Dr. Sacks previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Community Colleges at the U.S. Department of Education. She was an Aspen Institute Presidential Fellow in the inaugural class and earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University.
