Caroline Keep

Doctoral researcher in Digitalisation in Education, University of Lancashire
Caroline is an award-winning teacher, AI and EdTech researcher, and data scientist. She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Lancashire, where her research explores Digitalisation in Education particularly the transformative potential of AI and emerging technologies through the lens of disability, accessibility, and neurodiversity.

As an neurodivergent educator, Caroline blends academic research with lived experience and real-world impact. Her work challenges traditional educational models and advocates for systemic change, driven by data, innovation, and equity.

Caroline’s background spans classroom teaching, data science, and technology development, giving her a rare interdisciplinary perspective. She has received multiple national awards for innovation in education and leadership in EdTech. She currently serves as the Liverpool City Region Co Chair of Disabled Equality Panel, is a member of the Construction Industry Council, a proud member of the Global Equality Collective. Caroline also acts as a judge for several national education and technology awards.

Through her research, leadership, and advocacy, Caroline is helping to shape a more equitable, accessible, and human-centred future for education.
