Caroline Allams is the Co-Founder of Natterhub, as well as an experienced educator and thought leader in digital literacy, online safety, and social-emotional learning. With over 15 years as a senior school leader and classroom teacher, Caroline combines deep pedagogical expertise with creative innovation to build meaningful digital learning experiences for children, teachers, and families.
Caroline co-founded Natterhub in response to the urgent need for early, guided, and emotionally intelligent online safety education. Designed by teachers for teachers, Natterhub is a multi-award-winning, scenario-based learning platform that teaches the skills and digital behaviours that underpin positive digital citizenship. Launched in 2020, the platform has since been used in more than 15,000 schools across over 80 countries, supporting schools to nurture digitally confident, kind, and self-aware learners.
Under Caroline’s leadership, Natterhub was awarded the Bett Award for Transformational Impact in 2022 and named a finalist again in 2023, alongside recognition from the Tech for Good Awards and the Education Resources Awards. Caroline was also named a Woman to Watch in Education, in recognition of her leadership, influence, and commitment to purposeful edtech.
A passionate advocate for empathetic pedagogy and early intervention, Caroline works closely with educators and parents to ensure digital education is embedded meaningfully across the curriculum. Her regular appearances on BBC News, BBC Radio, and contributions to The Times reinforce her position as a trusted voice in the sector.
At Bett 2026, Caroline brings her belief that digital education must prioritise emotional intelligence and real-world relevance, ensuring that online safety is not just taught but lived and understood by every child.
