Carla is an Education Specialist and co-author of pH Primary Science. A former teacher and Assistant Headteacher, she has extensive experience teaching across the primary age-range and over 10 years’ experience as a Science Subject Leader. As a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) for science, Carla has supported other science leaders, helping to improve the quality of science teaching and learning across different schools. She has a passion for practical, hands-on science, ensuring children explore and understand scientific concepts in fun and engaging ways. Carla has delivered training to student teachers, Early Career Teachers, and Science Subject Leaders, equipping them with strategies to deliver high-quality science education.
