Carla has been at the international forefront of EdTech and the futures of education for over 20 years. She focuses on thought leadership, strategy development, innovation, and the use of augmentative EdTech underpinned learner-centred design and the Science of Learning in international contexts. An author and EdTech policy expert, she led the Tmrw Institute think tank, speaks at conferences, and mentors start-ups all over the world. AI is increasingly at the centre of her work, leading an AI initiative for the Global Science of Learning Education Network, innovation at Erasmus University Rotterdam, as well as being an education expert and coach at DOHE. Carla sits on a number of boards, including the DEFI (Digital Education Futures Initiative) oversight committee at Cambridge University.
