Callum is a HCPC registered Sport & Exercise Psychologist and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society. In his time working as a consultant in esports, Callum has supported professional players, coaches, streamers and management staff across numerous games including League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Quake. He has worked on-site with teams at international LAN competitions, such as the RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Major in Los Angeles and CS:GO ESL Pro League in J'nk'ping and Malta, as well as online in the Northern League of Legends Championship and Ligue Fran'aise de League of Legends. Callum's work blends performance psychology with a strong focus on well-being in order to support both player and person. In his role as Head of Performance for IFoEC, Callum is responsible for overseeing applied performance support with esports teams working alongside IFoEC, within the UK and internationally. At IFoEC he works to combine research and evidence-based practice into practical support for coaches, organisations, and players looking to enhance performance environments. Additionally, much of Callum's role involves working to establish and maintain professional development pathways for coaches and performance staff within esports and working in partnership with UK and EU universities to provide esports education focussing on performance and wellbeing. Callum has also worked in several sports, holds a Level 3 Supervision of Mental Health First Aid qualification, and plays many esports titles himself.
