Brandon Cardet-Hernandez is the President of Mrs Wordsmith, an educational company that creates innovative resources to improve literacy outcomes for children. Under his leadership, the company combines evidence-based strategies with engaging content, animation, and game design to inspire a love for reading. Previously, he served as the Education Advisor to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, overseeing significant initiatives such as expanding early childhood education and launching a citywide Restorative Justice program. Cardet-Hernandez has also worked as a Turnaround Principal in New York City schools. He is dedicated to improving literacy outcomes for children globally.
