Benjamin Hertz is a Senior Pedagogical Manager at European Schoolnet, where he leads programmes on teacher professional learning, including the European Schoolnet Academy, and the professional development offer on the European School Education Platform – the European Commission’s platform for the school education community. He serves on several working groups and advisory boards focused on artificial intelligence in education, and teacher training. Benjamin’s interests lie in the area of online learning, artificial intelligence, and the design of impactful teacher professional development. Before joining European Schoolnet, he taught History at a leading sixth-form college in the United Kingdom. He holds an MPhil in European Politics, and a teaching qualification from the University of Oxford.
