Dr Ben Williamson is a Senior Lecturer and Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on education, technology, data and policy, and is widely published in international education and social science journals. Recent projects have examined the rise of data science expertise in research about education, and how futures of learning are constructed across industry and governance sectors.

Ben is an editor of the Learning, Media and Technology journal, a member of advisory boards for international projects, and provides consultancy to a range of educational organisations.
