Axel Jean is Head of the Office for Innovation and Applied Research at the Directorate for Digital Education (DNE), Ministry of National Education, France. He works on AI and education, combining applied research and co-construction (school-research-EdTech) of digital services for education, such as those developed as part of the Partnership for Innovation in AI (P2IA). He is responsible, on behalf of the French Ministry of Education, for the pioneering European project erasmus+ project AI4T (Artificial Intelligence For and by Teachers) involving five countries and seventeen institutional partners.
