Avi Warshavsky is the CEO and Founder of MindCET – EdTech Innovation Center (since 2012), a global hub driving EdTech innovation. Serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Educational Technology (CET), where he previously held senior leadership positions as Head of Humanities and Social Studies and Director of eBook initiatives, pioneering new models for digital learning in Israel’s education system.

An acclaimed thought leader, Warshavsky has pioneered a number of global initiatives that have shaped today’s EdTech landscape. He founded the Global EdTech Startup Awards (GESAwards) in 2014, co-founded the UK–Israel EdTech Task Force, and currently chairs the board of many EdTech companies such as Connecteam, Plethora, Jotit, CodeMonkey, and is a Managing Partner at MindCET Capital. A sought-after international voice, Warshavsky is a frequent speaker at leading EdTech forums across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

M.A. in Philosophy Tel Aviv University, a B.A. in History Open University of Israel, and studied philosophy at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Author of influential works on the intersection of education and technology, including EdTech Mindset (2015–2024), Teaching in a Hybrid Environment (Mandel Foundation, 2020), and Bringing Israel’s Classroom to the 21st Century (JPost, 2019).
