Anthony has a National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership and a Diploma in trauma and mental health. Five years ago, he moved from mainstream education into alternative provision, driven by the belief that too many children were being “lost” by the system. He recognised that unmet basic needs—like hunger, fear, or exhaustion—were barriers to learning and behaviour. After leading a PRU, he realised he had to unlearn everything he thought he knew about schooling. He immersed himself in trauma and attachment research and became evangelical about childhood brain development. Over the past four years, he has developed Relational Inclusion, working with schools, universities, police, and the Violence Reduction Unit. His book, Educating Everyone, was published in April 2025.
