Alex leads the LGfL SafeguardED service, a critical resource dedicated to supporting schools in their mission to keep children safe, both in the digital landscape and the wider world. With a distinguished career spanning two decades, Alex brings a wealth of experience from senior roles across education and social care settings, where she has successfully managed services and led best-practice safeguarding initiatives. Alex’s work is characterised by a deep commitment to addressing complex and emerging risks, with particular interests in safeguarding disabled children, preventing and responding to neglect and safeguarding from the risks associated with GenAI.
