Alec been a geography and business management teacher. During the last 12 years he has served as the director of schools in Singapore, Montenegro, Ecuador, and Spain, leading dynamic, outstanding community schools and working with many inspirational staff, students, and families. Alec joined ICS London from his most recent leadership roles, the Founding Principal of EtonHouse International Education Group in Singapore and before that as Interim Director of the British School of M'laga, Spain. During the most recent years in his career, Alec has had the rewarding role of an Executive Coach, empowering leaders and transforming organisations, working with Fortune 500 companies down to smaller multinational organisations. He has been a leader and team member in schools, and has held pivotal roles in building new schools, turning around failing schools, and leading change management. Alec prides himself in recruiting, developing, and empowering high-functioning teams that work with students to secure outstanding internal and external examination results and, as an IB accreditor, he also brings specialist-level knowledge of the PYP, MYP and IBDP.
