Aisha Abushelaibi
Dr Aisha Abushelaibi is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of food safety and microbiology. She is the Chancellor of Al Dhaid University, Sharjah, U.A.E., a role she has held since 2024. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Food Safety and Food Law from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Food Microbiology from Colorado State University, Dr Abushelaibi has significantly impacted higher education in the U.A.E. She has held various roles at the Higher Colleges of Technology and United Arab Emirates University, including Chief of Innovation and Dean. Her expertise spans food safety, scientific research, and administrative leadership. She is also recognised for her substantial contributions to academic publications and professional committees.
