Sara Moze

Digital and Learning Innovation Manager, University of Leicester

Dr Sara Moze is an educator, linguist, lexicographer, and researcher with over 15 years of experience working in the development of corpus-driven methodologies, dictionaries, pedagogical grammars and other data-driven resources for various languages and user groups. She currently holds the position of Digital and Learning Innovation Manager at the University of Leicester, where she leads a central team of learning technologists who provide advice, training and support on the use of digital tools and innovative technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment across the university. She is co-chair of the university's official Community of Practice (CoP) in AI and HE, and co-chair of the Digital Learning Tools Working Group (DTG), as well as a member of various institution-wide subcommittees and strategic working groups focussing on AI and the digital learning environment.

Previously, she was Lecturer in Computational Lexicology at the Research Institutite of Information and Language Processing (RIILP), University of Wolverhampton, where she acted as Head of Teaching and Local Coordinator for the Erasmus Mundus Master's Programme in 'Technology for Translation and Interpreting' (EM TTI). Having worked in the UK HE sector for well over a decade, Dr Moze possesses significant experience in academic and digital leadership, postgraduate teaching, doctoral supervision, course design, accreditation, and academic publishing.
