Matt Mciver is the COO at Cidari Multi Academy Trust, a 15 Academy MAT across Lancashire. In 2007 Matt joined the sector as a secondary School Business Leader in Blackpool, steering the school into Cidari as the founding Academy in 2014. A COO since 2016, Matt is passionate about the strategic and operational impact School Business Professionals have in delivering excellence. He actively seeks best practice across public and private sectors, promoting an innovative, motivating, sustainable, and compliant culture centered on pupils, colleagues, families, and communities. Committed to civic duty, Matt is a Trustee at two MATs and Vice Chair of Governors at a maintained school. He is also a member of the ISBL, CST, and a fellow of the 'Becoming the CEO' programme delivered by BeReady group.
