Job Vos is a privacy lawyer and senior expert on privacy, AI and Big Tech in the education sector. He supports school boards and sector organisations on questions at the intersection of education, technology and data protection. As a Data Protection Officer for several school boards, he helps translate legislation into practical tools that schools can actually use. Through his work at SIVON, the Dutch ICT cooperative for primary and secondary education, Job contributes to a sector-wide framework on privacy, AI and digital autonomy, including the development of an AI Assessment Framework for the Dutch government. He has also worked with partners to establish binding agreements with companies such as Google on privacy, security and data use. His work focuses on helping schools keep control over their data, their public values and their educational choices, so that schools — not suppliers — decide who builds their digital future.
