Daniel Broby

Professor, Asian Institute of Management

Daniel is a Full Professor at the Asian Institute of Management, and a Visiting Professor ar Ulster Unviersity Business School. He previously held the Chair of Financial Technology at Ulster University and was Director of the Centre for Financial and Regulatory Technology. In those roles, he is a thought leader and influencer.

Professor Broby's extensive research interests revolve around the applications of FinTech in financial markets. He has published contributions to the Curriculum in Fintech and Open Finance. He is a Senior Fellow of the HEI.

Prof Broby conducts research into benchmarks and indices, as well as policy and regulation. His empirical work encompasses the changing nature of time series, financial business models, disintermediation, and the impact of disruptive innovation.
