Mel Gomes has 30 years business experience, delivering tech contracts in both the private and public sector, across multiple verticals, including in Higher Education (HE) since 2019, working with global partners to deliver services that improve user experience, create positive business outcomes, enable learning and reducing total cost ownership and technical debt in a challenging climate for Universities. In addition, Mel offers wider thought leadership, including as a Chair of the UCISA Tech Procurement group, speaking at the House of Lords for a Policy Connect cross-party session on tech procurement in the HE Sector, as well as being 2026 Gartner Eye on Innovation Judge for Education.
