Prof. Bistra Vassileva, PhD is Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Professional Development and Professor of Marketing at the University of Economics – Varna, Bulgaria. With more than 30 years of experience in higher education, she combines academic leadership, research and teaching with a strong focus on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, innovative learning and university-business collaboration. She has extensive international experience as a visiting professor, researcher and project leader across Europe and has participated in numerous European research and education initiatives. A former Marie Curie Senior Researcher and Certified Digital Marketing Professional, Prof. Vassileva is particularly interested in how AI, data-driven approaches and emerging technologies can transform teaching, learning and institutional decision-making.
