BATA’s mission is to unite and strengthen the UK Assistive Technology sector to drive meaningful progress for AT in accordance with the UNCRPD towards a UK that is able to provide available, appropriate and affordable AT to every child and adult. 

We see a future where disabled children, adults and older people have appropriate, affordable access to AT and their accompanying services including repair and replace, so that their human rights are met. We also want to support a stronger, more diverse AT market where disability and the use of AT is no longer stigmatised, and where AT users have choice on product and design.
