Oleg Sokolov is Senior Director, Data and AI, at Sanoma Learning, where he leads the data, analytics and AI agenda across the group's European markets. He is responsible for Sanoma’s data platform, internal analytics, and the overall AI strategy, AI product development, and internal adoption of AI. On the product side, he manages teams building Sanoma Learning’s Educational AI, like the AI Teacher Assistant that was built and tested with schools and now live in seven markets.  

Before Sanoma, Oleg spent a decade at McKinsey & Company and QuantumBlack, latterly as Associate Partner, advising companies of USD 10–50 billion in size on advanced analytics and generative AI. He led AI strategies and analytics transformations across multiple sectors and topics, from building conversational AI products to advising C-level executives. 

He holds degrees in applied mathematics and computer science, and in international management, and is based in Stockholm.
