Gavin Davenport

Senior Lecturer, Edge Hill University

A former video games designer and producer, Gavin Davenport has been a qualified teacher for the past twenty years, spending time in all phases of education from Early Years, through primary, secondary and in alternative provision. He has led computing across a multi academy trust and is now a Senior Lecturer in teacher education at Edge Hill University and a school chair of governors. A senior professional learning lead for the National Centre for Computing Education, Gavin is also a fellow of the Higher Education Authority and the Royal Society of Arts.
