Join Professor Dean Mohamedally from University College London as he invites his students to present the highlights of their end of year projects to help support K12 and SEND learners with their learning and development. From literacy to coding, and from gaming to AI, these projects highlight how to support student-based skills and careers that will revolutionise education, including: 

  • SmolPC 2.0 - Local AI Apps for Open Source in Education (including coding and language teaching 

  • MirrorMirror PenPals AI - video portal social network for SEND school classrooms 

  • ReadingStar 2.0 with RapStar - A SEND gaming environment for learning to read by singing 

  • Manuscripta - TV Display Apps and E-Ink handwriting apps using AI and computers 

  • Racoonr AI/XR recycling mini games - A unity-based FPS XR collection of minigames for recycling education, for computers, AI, and mobile devices 

  • AvatarForms - an app for conversion of online forms questions to avatars with teacher->student interview AI techniques
