Hear from Anthony Benedict, Chief Executive Officer of Ambition Community Trust and Author, on how he's developed and implemented Relational Inclusion - an approach designed to create holistic, compassionate and trauma-informed settings for all students, including those with complex needs.

Grounded in the understanding that children’s behaviour and emotional responses are shaped by their lived experiences, Relational Inclusion places meaningful relationships at the heart of education. Drawing on evidence gained from a part-funded research pilot which worked with 14 primary schools, five secondary schools and a Pupil Referral Unit, this session will explore how fostering a sense of belonging and emotional wellbeing can transform learning environments.  The session will also examine how schools can move away from traditional behaviour management models towards a preventative, supportive culture.

Gain practical strategies for adopting Relational Inclusion across your setting - such as the use of student profiling and emotional intelligence assessment tools - and learn how to create a nurturing environment where every child feels seen, safe and supported.
