In an era of digital transformation, the role of assessments and feedback in Higher Education are under great scrutiny. Institutions are investing in new learning platforms and analytics tools, yet the challenge remains of ensuring that assessments are authentic, equitable, and pedagogically sound, while feedback remains timely, trusted, and useful. Drawing on recent work at UCL and insights from faculty-level research, this session unpacks how assessment design and digital feedback practices can directly shape student engagement, trust, and learning outcomes.
