Navigating constant change: Building an AI strategy

23 Jan 2026
Live Classroom Theatre
Skills & Careers Digital Strategy Pedagogy
This seminar offers school leaders a strategic blueprint for navigating the constant change of AI. It challenges the pursuit of a "magic pill" solution, urging leaders to focus on deep, sustained strategic integration over quick fixes, thereby protecting resource investment. The seminar’s focus covers three key areas shaping effective AI strategy. Leadership & Governance: Defining the necessary vision, ethics, and accountability: examining AI as both a "Superpower or Kryptonite." Safety & Ethics: Addressing the paramount importance of safeguards and safe use of Generative AI to ensure ethical, secure, and equitable deployment across the school. Strategic Application: Exploring how AI can be leveraged for genuine pedagogical enhancement and organisational efficiency, transforming the AI "avalanche" into a measured catalyst for continuous school improvement. This strategic approach equips leaders to ask the right questions and build a future-proof, robust AI strategy for measurable impact.
