Traditional writing surfaces offer a time-tested and cost-efficient solution that has been scientifically proven to drive retention and engagement. Unfortunately, these tools are also a source of frustration for students with mobility issues and diverse learning needs. ShareTheBoard addresses the shortcomings of traditional writing surfaces, without introducing learning curves for educators or undue costs for educational institutions. In this presentation we’ll demonstrate how any board-based classroom can be transformed into a globally-accessible teaching environment without any change to teaching methods. Educators, IT leads, and inclusion specialists will learn how real-time board digitisation boosts participation, accessibility, and outcomes, while minimising teacher workload.
