AI Awareness Day (taking place on 4 June 2026) is a nationwide initiative designed to inspire and equip UK schools to prepare students for an AI-driven future. This session will introduce the aims of the campaign, outline how the day will run in schools, and share practical ways for teachers to get involved. Aimed at educators, school leaders, and youth organisations, it will highlight ready-to-use resources, creative classroom activities, and opportunities for collaboration. The session will also explore how AI education can strengthen critical thinking, digital literacy, and ethical awareness. By engaging teachers as key partners, AI Awareness Day empowers schools to create meaningful, future-focused learning experiences that make AI accessible, safe, and exciting for young people across the UK.
