Many students struggle to become independent learners, especially those facing literacy, language, or accessibility challenges. Teachers want to support them without creating dependency. Assistive technology helps bridge that gap, empowering students to access content, learn at their own pace, and build confidence. From K–12 to higher ed, these tools prepare learners for life beyond school into apprenticeships, university, and the workplace. In this session you will hear directly from teachers and students about the impact it has had on their educational journey. Attendees will discover practical ways to integrate assistive technology, hear real success stories, and learn how to foster lifelong independence and engagement through inclusive tools.
