Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of our daily lives, supporting a range of activities such as learning, personalised assistance, and entertainment. Recognising the growing impact of AI, schools, educators, and policy makers agree that it is essential for young people to understand how AI operates and to use it responsibly and ethically. This proficiency is crucial for preparing students to thrive in a society and economy increasingly shaped by AI technologies. Drawing on the latest work in AI Literacy by the European Commission, the OECD, and Code.org, this workshop will offer practical activities and real-world scenarios that educators can readily incorporate into their teaching practice.
